Objectives: This training will provide background into the creation of reporting and business intelligence features in SharePoint. The course will review how data can be extracted from lists, databases, XML, flat and Excel files. It will then cover methods for filtering information, categorising and parameterising it. A review of the available web parts will then be covered to enable reporting.

Pre-Requisites: Delegates should be familiar with the SharePoint (MOSS) environment and the design tools available within SharePoint. Delegates should be familiar with database terminology and methods for accessing information from databases. It would be beneficial (but not essential) to have attended our SharePoint Designer course as some use of the package is made during the course.
