Why would I book a one to one training course?

There are many reasons you would want to book a one to one training course

One to One Training

Scheduled courses VS One to One: Group Public scheduled courses out there are made up of mixed groups, whilst this is a great way of learning, if you have specific things you want to learn then it may not be relevant to spend days learning topics that do not interest you.

Relevance: Let’s say you book yourself onto an intro level Visio course. You have used the application before but know that there are gaps in your knowledge and don’t feel you’d quite manage the Avanced level yet although you are a fast learner. Your class starts and you realise that there is quite a varying degree of levels of ability amongst the eight candidates in your group, many of whom don’t seem to have used the application much before at all.

Cost: One of the strongest myths about one-on-one learning is the cost factor. Many employers assume that paying for extensive individualized learning and training is something simply not worth the capital investment. HR and Accounts departments fret and stew over the potential for training individuals. The cost per hour does come with a higher price tag, but the overall expense of one-on-one computer training is actually comparable to e-learning or traditional classroom learning. This is because many one-on-one sessions take place within a shorter time frame and covers more material.

Time: Many people assume that one-on-one learning simply takes up more time than classroom learning. This is a misnomer, as the focused learning of this style of training makes is quicker and more concise. Because of the possibility to answer questions as they are asked and to focus on individual needs, the learning process takes up less time and leaves more room for other workers to be trained. In the end, the economy of time and money saved makes one-on-one learning an attractive choice. Individualised training: 1-1 training is individualised. It is tailored to your specific requirements so obviously eradicates any waste in your training day.

Training Needs Analysis: Before your course, we recommend you complete a TNA (Training Needs Analysis) form which gives you and your trainer a starting point. From there, the material and pace at which you cover it is all determined by you. There is no limit to how bespoke your day might be, too. Many of our clients choose to take elements from different applications and customise the days, optimising their time with the trainer. As you are the only pupil in your class, you can go ahead and get creative to your hearts desire! The trainer will give you guidance prior to the course to ensure that your mix

Where would you like to be trained?
